After much procrastination about whether I wanted a Raspberry Pi or not my wife bought me a Pi 2 Model B for my Christmas present.<\/p>\n
The package was purchased from ModMyPi<\/a>\u00a0and is the Media Centre kit<\/a>. \u00a0This\u00a0is the most complete kit for my particular needs in so much as it comes with WiFi dongle and miniature wireless keyboard. \u00a0As the kit suggests my first project is to create a media centre box to replace my Western Digital HD Live. \u00a0I plan on purchasing further Pi’s for future projects including logging weather data and PSK31 experiments.<\/p>\n The pages here are simply to document my progress, noting any “gotchas” and as an aide-memoir to myself for future reference and anyone else who happens upon them.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" After much procrastination about whether I wanted a Raspberry Pi or not my wife bought me a Pi 2 Model B for my Christmas present.
